No sign-up needed — accounts are optional

14-0-0 (both the IPL game and the Test Cricket game) is fully playable without registering, logging in, or providing any personal details. We never ask for your name, email address, or any identifying information in order to use the game.

You can optionally create an account to put a username on the leaderboards and see your own game history. An account is just a username you invent and a 4-digit PIN: the PIN is stored only as a secure hash, we don't ask for an email (which also means a lost PIN can't be recovered), and a sign-in token is kept in your browser's local storage until you sign out. If you play signed in, your game results are linked to that username. Please don't use your real name as your username if you don't want results publicly associated with it.

What we store

When you finish a game, we save a record of the result so we can generate your shareable result page and the public leaderboards. This record contains only:

• the game you played (IPL or Test Cricket), the players, positions, and team settings you selected;
• the resulting team rating, projected record, grade, and tier;
• a random share code and a timestamp;
• if — and only if — you were signed in, the account it belongs to, so your username can appear on the leaderboard and in your history.

Anonymous games are not linked to you as an individual. We do not store IP addresses against game results, and we do not build user profiles.

Cookies & tracking

The core game does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics in future to understand how many people play, this page will be updated to say so.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel and its database runs on Supabase; these providers process requests on our behalf in order to serve the game. Player statistics are derived from open data published by Cricsheet. Sharing a result uses your own device's share or messaging apps — we don't post on your behalf.

Children

14-0-0 is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — the optional account asks only for a made-up username and a PIN.
